When it comes to the lively topic of AI, the hype is loud, the fear is louder, and the honest middle ground is harder to find than either. Most of the conversation sits at the extremes: AI will replace everything, or AI is overhyped and changes nothing. And the line between the two matters more than most people are willing to sit with.

I'm Louise Leone, founder of Lion's Roar Studio. I've spent two decades building content systems and digital experiences across enterprise organisations and growing brands. More recently, AI has become a genuine part of how the mechanical layer of content strategy gets done: auditing at scale, taxonomy drafting, migration mapping, first-pass specifications. It has not replaced the decisions that matter: the modelling choices, the governance design, the stakeholder alignment, the reasoning that makes a content system hold after the agency exits.

That distinction is what this category is about.

I'll be writing about where AI genuinely accelerates content strategy work and where human judgement still has to stay in the room. Practical workflow thinking from real systems. Honest assessment of what tools do well, where they fall short, and how to use them without outsourcing the thinking that makes the work senior.
