If you’ve found your way here, something probably caught your eye. The lion. The brand statement. The promise of work that takes itself seriously without taking itself too seriously. Whatever it was, glad you came in.

This is the home of Lion’s Roar Studio, and The Roar is where the studio thinks out loud.

There’s a particular kind of moment most of us know well, even if we don’t talk about it much. The moment you’ve been turning an idea over for weeks and you finally have to decide whether to pitch it to the senior in the room. The moment your foot hovers over the threshold between employment and whatever’s next. The moment you click publish on something you’re not sure is finished, knowing it isn’t, knowing you have to anyway.

That moment is where the work actually starts. Everything before it is preparation. Everything after it is the thing you’ll learn from.

Lion’s Roar Studio is built around that moment. Around the people who keep arriving at it and stepping through it, and the work that helps them do that with a bit more clarity and a bit less alone.

The lens here is forward. That’s a learned position, not a sunny one.

Anyone who’s built anything real knows the work moves through failing fast, learning faster, going again. It also takes a bit of nerve: shipping before it’s perfect, pitching the idea anyway, stepping into the founder thing without all the answers. The lens isn’t about avoiding the dead ends. It’s about how quickly you turn them into hinges.

Most of what looks like a contradiction is a sequence problem. Most of what looks like “we can’t” is a “not yet, and here’s the route.” That temperament shapes the studio, and it shapes the writing here too.

We’re trying to build something beautiful, functional, useful. We’re trying to do it with our eyes open about the failure that’s part of building anything real. That’s the work.

A quick word on me, since this is a welcome. I’m Louise and I founded Lion’s Roar Studio in January 2026. After twenty years of doing the work under other people's logos, putting it under my own name was overdue. So I built something new.

Lion’s Roar Studio is a content strategy, digital experience, and AI-assisted systems studio. It runs on two tracks. Studio work for founders, coaches, and solopreneurs trying to find their voice and make their work heard. Senior strategy for digital teams, product leads, and scale-ups doing complicated work in difficult conditions.

Different rooms, same practice. The lens travels.

Some pieces will be 1,500 words of methodology. Others will be shorter reframes, a note from a current build, or the kind of post you read on a Tuesday morning and think about on the walk home. Personal essays mostly live on Substack, where the form is built for them, but the threads connect.
